Project summary

The project envisages to rehabilitate existing school buildings, and to add a minimum amount of buildings to allow the school to accommodate 1300 students in a more appropriate way. The capacity of 850 students is presently a theoretical one, as the infrastructure (classrooms, dormitories, bathing facilities and toilets etc) is completely dilapidated, and the students are crammed in the inadequate buildings. The project opts to provide all buildings involved in the rehabilitation and construction activities with new furniture and equipment, so that completed and operational buildings can be handed over the to beneficiaries.
