Project summary

The RISE+II project (Resilience in Schools of East Jerusalem - Phase II) aims to strengthen the resilience of the Palestinian communities in East Jerusalem by improving access to quality and inclusive education.

More specifically, it aims to (1) increase the access to quality and inclusive education in East Jerusalem through the creation of additional safe, child and environment school infrastructure, capacity strengthening of the teachers, support staff and school management and the improvement of the wellbeing of children and (2) preserve and promote the cultural and religious heritage of Arab Christians and highlight the contribution of their historic presence to the character of Jerusalem.
