General objective

Specific objective
The quality of primary and lower secondary teacher pre-service and in-service training is improved in the Northern Highlands of Vietnam
R1: Teacher trainers and teachers of training schools apply ATL methodology in their daily practice, in line with the new curriculum and textbook, and adapted to the specific needs and context.
R2: The non-compulsory part of teacher training curriculm is adapted to the specific needs of the most disadvantaged groups.
R3: Teacher trainers are supported to carry out good quality practical and relevant classroom action research on ATL and on initiatives that promote equity for ethnic students.
R4: Teacher training institutes and training schools are supported with equipment, resources and materials that effectively support ATL and results 1, 2 and 3.
