Project summary

SWAp is a programme based approach operating at the level of an entire sector (DAC). Cooperation in the framework of a SWAp fosters the principles of ownership, harmonisation and alignment as set out in the Paris Declaration (OECD, 2005). The Ministry of Health and the DPs agree that the development of a Sector Wide Appoach (SWAp) in the health sector will facilitate the attainment of the goals set out in the Economic Development and Poverty Reduction Strategy (EDPRS) and in the Health Sector Strategic Plan (HSSP).
