The planned intervention follows a previous funding package for Human Resources for Health (HRH), the Integrated Network/Rede Integrada project and the Primary Health Care (PHC) and Capacity Building project, whereby the Rede Integrada comprised 4 separate parts implemented by the DPS, Institute of Tropical Medicine (Antwerp) (ITM), International Centre for Reproductive Health (ICRH) and Médecins sans Frontières (MSF). On national level FICA participates in the SWAp and has been channeling funds through the common fund Prosaúde, supported by 12 bilateral and multilateral donors.
