Project summary

ELP aims to enhance economic inclusion in Jordan by improving access to decent employment and entrepreneurship opportunities for youth, Syrian refugees, and women. It focuses on skills development, support for microbusinesses, and support for evidence-based policy-making to create sustainable and inclusive livelihoods. This will be achieved through the following three key results, addressing the needs and constraints of different target groups:

  • Youth, Syrian refugees, and women in Jordan are equipped with demand-driven skills and supported to access inclusive and decent employment opportunities.
  • New and existing microbusinesses are supported towards more resilient and sustainable outcomes.
  • Evidence related to the integration of refugees and their hosts through economic opportunities and livelihoods is supported, and it provides the basis for more inclusive policymaking and programming, monitoring, and implementation of sector policies.
