General objective
Grant contribution of 4,000,000 (four million) euro to the Swap development destined to the implementation of LGSIP, in three yearly instalment for the Ugandan FY 2008/2009, 2009/2010 and 2010/2011.
Specific objective
Provide a single point of reference for mobilizing resources for implementation of the decentralization policy within the context of the MTEF.
Ensure that resources are channelled to core programmes and activities to support implementation of the decentralization policy in line with the PEAP.
Ensure coordinated and effective delivery of services at local level.
