Built on its experiences and results in developing the dairy sector, a number of measures and policies to further develop and extent dairy farming in Vietnam in the 2001-2010 period were formulated and launched by the Government of Vietnam as the National Dairy Development Programme. Our project aims to contribute meaningfully towards the realisation of this programme in rural districts of Hanoi and 4 surrounding Provinces. The project activities are both targeted towards improving the production and profitability of dairy farming as well as strenghtening institutional structures involved in dairy management.
