Project description

The EU Circular Economy Resource Centre (EU CERC) is a 5-year project funded by the European Union and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland and implemented by the Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra and the Belgian Agency for International Cooperation - Enabel.

The EU CERC aims to increase the uptake of sound and inclusive Circular Economy policies and business models, based on peer-to-peer exchanges and partnerships between EU and third country stakeholders through three complementary labs: the Policy lab, the Knowledge lab and the Business Lab.
- The Policy Lab supports the development and implementation of circular economy policies and road maps in partner countries.
- The Knowledge Lab offers partnership and collaboration support between EU and partner countries and matches demand for support with supply by facilitating the exchange of circular economy knowledge and best practices.
- The Business Lab, implemented by Enabel, Supports the circular economy transition for enterprises and business support organizations in partner countries and strengthens collaboration between EU and partner countries’ enterprises.

The EU CERC offers  collaboration support, peer-to-peer learning, technical assistance, expertise and compliance support. The EU CERC operates on a broad scale; activities will take place across Africa, the Eastern and Southern Neighbourhood, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean.
