Project summary

The IDEA project (Innovation Dialogues Europe - Africa) in Mozambique aims to support and strengthen the role of ICT/digitalisation stakeholders, precisely civil society and academia and to engage and contribute actively to multi-stakeholder dialogues for human-centred digital transformation.

The main objective is to boost inter-African and African-European multi-stakeholder dialogue and collaboration in the digital economy and society by supporting the development of joint digital innovations as a response to societal challenges that hinder an inclusive digital society.

General objective

Specific objective

A - The capacities of civil society and academia are strengthened to support a human-centric digital transformation in the partner countries (Lead: GIZ)
B - Key challenges for human-centric digital transformation in the partner countries have been identified and innovative solutions have been co-created (Lead: Enabel)
C - Results are disseminated to maximise and sustain the impact of the project (Lead: SAS)
