Project summary

Strengthen the capacity of cooperatives of smallholder farmers, artisanal fishermen, and poultry breeders to develop their value chains by increasing production, improving productivity, and creating new market linkages.
Facilitate the operations of these value chains from the point of production to the final consumer, expanding access to quality locally produced food for urban and rural households, tourists, and export markets.
Design, construct and operationalize a network of 4 agri-food platforms, beginning with the wholesale market in Yundum, as a means of collecting, conditioning, packaging, and marketing locally produced vegetables, fish/seafood, and poultry products.
