The DESARAO project advances the realisation of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) across Africa, focusing on inclusive and sustainable change. It supports the increased implementation of continental and regional SRHR commitments, particularly within the health and education sectors. The project works to improve the availability, affordability, and acceptability of quality-assured SRH commodities, ensuring equitable access—especially for women and girls. At the same time, it strengthens advocacy and accountability mechanisms to ensure that SRHR needs are effectively addressed and rights are upheld across all levels.
