SOCIEUX+ is a technical cooperation facility co-funded by the European Union (EU), France, Belgium, and Spain. It aims to enhance access to better employment opportunities and inclusive social protection systems, with a particular focus on women, youth, and vulnerable groups.
The facility works to strengthen institutional capacities in partner countries, promoting social protection, decent work, and responsible business practices. It also supports public institutions in preparing for and responding to EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence expectations.
Activities are demand-driven, short-term, and centered on peer-to-peer cooperation, bringing together experts from EU Member States with their counterparts in partner countries. SOCIEUX+ is available in more than 160 countries and territories.
The specific objective for the Belgian contribution is ‘Knowledge development’, the learning from the actions that SOCIEUX+ has been managing in the partner countries and capacity building for the themes of SOCIEUX+.
