Circularity: Growing Opportunities for Financiers
Join us for
this accelerator session organised in the framework of the World Circular
Economy Forum in Gandhinagar, India.
This 2-hour session
will present challenges and
opportunities financing the circular economy.
It is organised by the EU Circular Economy Resource Centre (EU CERC).
The session
targets all financiers: development banks, commercial banks, fund managers and
foundations and their clients. It is designed to be complementary to the other
finance sessions. If you are a financier interested in a resilient future, we
look forward to meeting you here!
Finance is
always mentioned as a necessary input for more circular business. We will share
some of the experiences of different financiers, who are actively creating and
reaping the opportunities that the circular economy offers, for Better Clients
and Lower Risk. Come and listen to their strategies, their tools, their
practices.

This session is an accelerator session at the World Circular Economy Forum 2026
www.wcef2026.com. WCEF2026 will gather forward-looking thinkers and
doers and present the gamechangers in the circular economy. The forum will be
held from 15 to 18 September 2026 in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India.
This session
is organized by Enabel, the Belgian agency for international cooperation, as
co-manager of the EU CERC. EU CERC is a five-year project
funded by the European Union and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland,
and implemented by the Sitra, Finnish Innovation Fund and Enabel. The Centre
aims to increase the uptake of sound and inclusive circular economy policies
and business models, based on peer-to-peer exchanges and partnerships between
EU and partner’s country stakeholders.
