Unemployment remains a challenge in Uganda. The Work Readiness Programme was launched under the Skills, Attitude, Governance and Anti-corruption (SG+) project to address this issue while meeting the labor demands of the private sector. By providing young people with the skills and experience needed by employers, the programme bridged the gap between education and job opportunities, creating a brighter future for the country's youth.
