In the context of the RESICODI project, Enabel has joined forces with the academic staff of IPRC Kitabi to implement a new strategy of blended learning.
The Integrated Polytechnic Regional College (IPRC) Kitabi is one of the eight IPRCs that is under Rwanda Polytechnic (RP) and is located in Southern province, Nyamagabe district.
The college mission is to preserve and disseminate knowledge and skills related to biodiversity, tourism and cultural resources through innovative teaching practices. Due to the shift in trends within the educational sector, learning models have changed to absorb the current pressure, innovate and deliver education methods relevant with the new reality.
“Before having this training, I used to interact directly physically with my students but nowadays it is easier for me to interact virtually with my students and delivering courses and assignments.”- Pr. Isidore Ndagijmana, Lecturer – Wildlife Conservation Technologies
To facilitate self-management of the Learning Management System, Enabel has trained teacher trainers on how to use and create their own online learning content. This way, teacher trainers are able to navigate Moodle, embark on their online creation journeys and moreover function as experts for their colleagues and trainees.
