The EU Circular Economy Resource Centre (EU CERC) is inviting cities in ODA recipient countries to apply for the a tailored capacity-building programme of the Business Lab designed to help cities better understand their local circular economy opportunities, strengthen their capacity to develop and advance circular economy initiatives, and engage with relevant stakeholders.

Over four months, selected cities will receive expert guidance and structured support to assess their local circular economy landscape, identify and develop promising circular economy opportunities and projects, and engage with their business community. Subject to clear selection criteria, eligible cities may also be considered for short-term technical assistance to support the further development or implementation of selected circular economy initiatives.

Up to three cities will be selected on a rolling basis.

The programme starts in November 2026 and it is implemented by Circle Economy Foundation.
